The Private Client work of Lea & White offers structured solutions both to individual clients and to private banks and trustee companies, to whom we offer advice in an independent, practical and balanced manner.
We will address the individual requirements of clients and provide confidential and independent advice on their private affairs. We can help to establish cost effective local or international structures designed for the client's specific needs, and where appropriate will introduce other specialist advisers as may be necessary to ensure that the arrangements are both workable and fully compliant with local and international standards.
Lea & White have many years of collective experience in the creation and operation of trusts under various legal systems, and are therefore particularly well placed to advise those establishing trust arrangements, as well as on their continuing operation. We have also developed structures which facilitate the legitimate retention of day to day control of the underlying assets by the client where this is required.
We also prepare Wills covering assets both in Hong Kong and elsewhere and can offer advice on the practicalities of dealing with assets in multiple jurisdictions. The legal formalities for creating valid Wills can be very detailed and specific. Lea & White are experienced in drafting Wills for clients and also liaising with foreign lawyers to arrange for the appropriate documents to be created in other countries.
